Adam G. on his blog pointed out to me the new promo for the Youth Specialties National Youth Workers Convention. It basicly shows a day in the life of a youthworker. I really encourage you to check it out here.

“The day in the Life of a Youthworker”

just me 7:38 pm

Today is the day that we reflect on the Lord dying on the cross for us. As I remember Christ today, I attended a funeral for a little baby that was only 7 weeks old. He died suddenly earlier this week. The family does not go to our church, however they live near our church and their neighbors attend here so that is why they came to us. The whole time I was trying to imagine what it would be like to lose my son. I can’t imagine the pain that this family feels right now. The message of the funeral is that God knows our pain. He said that he knows our pain because today is the day that we remember God endured the agony of losing his Son.

My wife and I watched half of “The Passion of the Christ” last night. This is the second time I have scene it. The film I think is really centering us on remembering Christ and his love for us.

Tonight is our Good Friday service. Like I said in earlier post I will be doing a mime/drama to the Ray Blotz’s song, “Watch the Lamb”. Then we are going to a birthday party of a friend of mine.
