Today we are getting hit with a big blast of snow. The weatherman said last night that we could get up to 19 inches by tomorrow morning. For me this is a good thing. Like I said earlier I am preaching this weekend and this gives me more time to practice because I am canceling an event I had planned for tonight.
It is my mothers 50th birthday this weekend. We are traveling south tomorrow to go to the big party. My dad is hiring an Elvis impersonator, doing a dvd slideshow, and having Tweety Bird and Sylvester the cat show up. I am sure she will think it is the coolest thing ever.
If you want to throw up a quick prayer for me this weekend that would be great as I want to do my best preaching this weekend. It is rare time when I get to share with the congregation.
